Maquoketa Middle School
Daily Announcement
April 4th
“B” Day

STUDENTS:

Middle School students interested in discovering what liberal arts education is like? Simpson College will be running a summer camp for middle schoolers for the third year in a row. This week long camp is for students who are inquisitive, imaginative, and enjoy reading and thinking. All “major” classes will be run by full time college professors.

Any 8th grade boy interested in playing freshmen(Level III) baseball this summer should come to an informational meeting during CST on Tuesday in Room 34 (Mr. Fuss’s room).

Any 8th graders interested in High School Fall Cheerleading- Tryouts will Be Monday April 2nd in the HS West Gym. Please be there promptly at 7:30am. This years teams will include:
Football Cheerleading, as well as State Competition Teams for Pom, Cheer, Stunting and Tumbling.

We will be accepting additional yearbook orders through April 6th!

Scotts Pitch Hit & Run will be on Saturday, April 21st from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and and boy or girl ages 7-14. The event will be held at the YMCA. Registration forms are in the office if interested.

The following students are competing You CAN do the Rubik’s Cube challenge on Sat, April 14th in Monticello. This will be the first time we have sent a team to compete. Goog luck to: Cameron Tracy, Natalie Davenport, Wyatt Bowling, Landon Meader, Autumn Atkinson, Gavin Fromenti, Bradley LaFrenz, Michael Newell.
