Announcements April 26th – April 30th

Congratulations to the Girls Track team for winning the Comet Relays! The last year a girls track team won an invitational was 1996.

Congrats to our 10 WaMaC Art winners! 

1st place:  Keeley Waack, Elaina Hafner 

2nd place:  Kaitlyn Hanken, Jaina Crist, Addie Bowman, Alaina Bahl, Savannah Dykstra and Elizabeth Dieters

3rd place: Emily Kloft, Rejusha Kuan

Congratulations to the Boys golf team on their win on Friday.  Also to Noah Nabb Medalist and Caiden Atienza Runner up.

Congratulations to the boys’ tennis team for their 3rd place finish at the Camanche Invitational Tennis Tournament on Saturday. They finished just 6 points out of 1st place.

Daniel Coyle, Grant Michel, and Jacob Reicks won medals for their doubles play. Brady Digmann, Logan Skladzien, and Kaleb Whaley won medals in both singles and doubles. Whaley won first place in his singles division.

On Monday, the tennis team defeated Marion 5-4. The boys’ tennis team has now defeated all of the other teams in our WaMaC Conference.

SENIOR COOKOUT – THURSDAY, MAY 6TH

Jackson County Cattlemen grilling cheese burgers and hotdogs.  Other items on the menu include:  Potato chips, homestyle creamy coleslaw, homestyle broccoli and bacon salad, zesty pasta salad and a carnival cookie.  Plus our regular menu for the day.  

club hOpe is looking for volunteers to help with kid activities at Miles for Maizie on Saturday, May 8th from 10:00am – 12:00 pm.  It is a Family Fun Run / Walk fundraiser for 50 legs.  We will meet at 10:00 am at the YMCA.

SENIORS: Baccalaureate will be held on Wednesday, May 12th at 7 PM at the Ohnward Fine Arts Center. Pastor Neil Harrison will be having planning meetings here at the High School during GST on Tuesday, April 27 and again on Tuesday, May 4.

Seniors, your pictures for the yearbook are past due. Get these turned in immediately to Mrs. Edwards.
