NHS Hat and Mitten drive is going on Tuesday, December 3-Tuesday, December 16. Please consider donating NEW hats, gloves, or mittens to the box outside the main office!

 

BPA (MHS Business Club) meeting on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7:45 am in room 202. Freshmen, please bring snacks.

2019 Turkey Bowl Champions are the Red Dangers with their 102-8 victory over the Great White.  MVP Awards to Taven Rich and Connor Becker.

 

College Composition I students will visit the Kindergarten classes on  Friday, December 6 an “A” day from 8:30-9:30 am and return on Monday, December 16 with Santa to deliver and read the letters to Kindergarten students. The  “B” day Composition I students will visit the Kindergarten classes on Thursday, December 5 from 8:30-9:30 am and Thursday, December 19. 

 

CAGE: Students wanting to participate in Large Group Speech need to sign up by Friday, Dec. 6th outside of Mrs. Gaul’s rooms. Rehearsal schedules are up outside of Mrs. Gaul’s room for the next two weeks. Sign up for a time each week that works for the group to rehearse.

 

Maquoketa FFA fruit is in.  IF you did not receive your order, talk with your salesmen. 

 

If you would like to order additional fruit (because it is awesome this year! ) Please see an FFA Member or call the Ag Room by friday NOON!   “This is one of the best years for quality that I have ever seen, and the taste is out of this world on the citrus items” Lansing!  

 

FFA members with a second order the spreadsheet will be attached and sent out later on Wednesday! 

 

Iowa Beef Scholarship Extravaganza is next week Dec 11th.  Will Lapke and Lane Stender will be representing Maquoketa FFA this year. Will Lapke was 4th last year earning $900 scholarship.  THey are hoping for a higher finish this year which will allow them to earn more Scholarships $$$$. 1st place team is $3000. Good Luck

 

DANCE TRYOUTS will be held Thursday, December 12 from 3:45-6:30 in the all-purpose room. See current dance team members for further information.
