Announcements Dec. 9th – 13th

FCCLA members:  Meet after school Wednesday to get the gifts for the Star Program.  We will go to Walmart.

Club hOpe is collecting toys for “Toys for Tots” again this Friday, Dec. 13 in front of the High School.  This year they are in need of toys for kids ages 10 and up. Please bring your toy and brighten a child’s day.  Thank you for donating.

BPA members make sure you see Ms. Buckwalter by Friday, Dec. 20 for events. Check our site for Buckwalter’s days/hours to come in.

Students planning on going out for track, sign up with Mrs. Scar!

DANCE TRYOUTS will be held Thursday, December 12 from 3:45-6:30 in the all-purpose room. See current dance team members for further information.

The Environment Club picked up garbage around the High School last Thursday after school for 45 minutes. It was disgusting how much garbage we picked up in that short time period! Please try to make a conscious effort to pick up the trash on our campus!!!!!!!!!

Student senate will be selling candy cane grams at lunch on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13. They are two for $1.

Large Group Speech rehearsal sign-up sheet is outside of Mrs. Gaul’s room (206). EVERY group that signed up needs to come rehearse with Mrs. Gaul THIS WEEK! There are plenty of time slots to find something that works for your group. 

If you are a FRESHMAN, and have signed up for speech, stop in and discuss with Mrs. Gaul when you can rehearse. We need to get pieces picked for each group, or get scripts written and get groups taping if needed!

CAGE meeting will be Friday, December 13th in Mrs. Gaul’s room (206) at 7:30am! Seniors have snacks! If you have signed up to participate in large group speech, you need to be there! 

Yearbook order forms for the 2019-2020 school year can be picked up in the office or from Mrs. Edwards in room 11o. The theme for the yearbook is #Fearthebird. It was created by MHS seniors Drake Iverson, Dixie Solomon, Kole Harmon, and Jack Dostal. 

Attention seniors: your senior pictures are due to Mrs. Edwards by February 1. Baby pictures AND head and shoulder shots should be turned in by April 1. All pictures should be sent electronically. Pictures cannot be taken off Facebook and they cannot have the watermark from the professional photographer. If a professional takes them, please ask the individual to email your photo directly to me. Remember that you DO need a traditional head and shoulder shot for the local paper. The yearbook photo can be your choice as long as it is school appropriate. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Edwards in room 110.
