Announcements February 25th – March 1st

This year’s spring dance will be a SPRING FLING! It will be on Saturday, March 23 from 8pm to 11pm in the cafeteria. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring yourself for a fun night! Tickets will be sold during lunch the week of the dance for $5 a person.

A reminder of the informational meeting for all golfers.  We will meet Tuesday,Feb 26 at 9:45 in the Commons. It is important for everyone to attend. Request Mrs. Taylor on FLEXI.

Leadership Council applications for football are available.  See Coach Bowman. A reminder to set up a time for your evaluation if you have not completed.

Any boys or girls who are interested in joining tennis this spring are welcome to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, February 26 at 3:30 PM in the high school cafeteria. If you are unable to attend this meeting and would like to join tennis, please see Mrs. Raker (room 113) for documents and information.

Simpson College will be in the Counseling office on Tuesday, Feb 26 at 9:45.  A sign up sheet is in the counseling office.

There will be a recognition assembly/pep rally during GST on Friday, March 1.

STUDENTS TAKING DRIVER’S ED: There WILL BE class today (Monday, 2/25). If you are planning to attend the boy’s basketball game, there WILL BE make-up days.

Join CAGE for a speech and pasta night POSTPONED until Tuesday, March 12th. Pasta will be served at 6pm in the high school cafeteria, with large group and individual speech performances at 7pm in the LMC. It is a free will donation. Come watch some amazing speeches!

CAGE parent meeting to discuss the fundraiser and the New York trip will be on Wednesday, Feb. 27th at 5:30  pm in Mrs. Krum’s room. Please inform parents of the change in the meeting!

Students advancing to State Individuals need to rehearse with Mrs. Krum or Miss Althoff TWICE this week! Sign up outside of their doors!

CAGE Meeting on Friday, March 1st at 7:30am in Mrs. Krum’s room. Freshman and Sophomores have snacks. We will be discussing speech, the fundraiser, and end of year updates!

JR and SR students: PROM is fast approaching (April 27)…..Tickets will be sold April 1-4 during lunch. Watch for signs!!

Deadline to register for ACT is Friday, March 8  for the Saturday, April 13 testing which will be held here at MHS.
