Announcements January 20 – 24

BPA meeting on Monday, January 27 at 7:45 am in room 202. Juniors bring snacks.

BPA and FCCLA are working concession stand this Friday, January 24 around 4:15. See either Ms. Buckwalter or Mrs. Johnson to sign up. 

Open hitting for golf will start on Thursday, January 23 in the Green Space/Old stage area.  The net will be available from 3:30 – 4:30. There is limited space so you need to see Mrs. Taylor to secure a spot.  You determine how long you want to hit. Sessions will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays through January, February and March.

Attention Seniors:  Jostens will be at school on Friday January 31st during lunch to deliver your graduation items.  THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE CAPS/GOWNS! Please remember that your balance must be paid in full in order to pick up your items.  Please note that Jostens only accepts cash at school on Friday. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call 1-800-JOSTENS (567-8367)                     If you would like to know if you still have a balance due, please call Jostens.

FCCLA and BPA are hosting their 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off on Tuesday, February 11 during basketball games.  $20 for adults to enter and $10 for students to enter. $5 per person to receive cups to sample five (5) kinds of chili. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Maquoketa community dog park at the double header on Tuesday, January 21. The total amount raised was $126.70. Student senate appreciates your help!

Good job to the students that participated in WaMAC Large Group Speech on Monday night at West Delaware. Remember to keep rehearsing, reading over scripts and getting ready for Saturday Districts.

Large Group Speech students will be leaving at 6am on Saturday, Jan. 25th from the parking lot by welding. Bring scripts, props needed, money for concessions, comfy clothes, DRESS CLOTHES and any homework or other things to work on. Schedule for Saturday is posted outside of Mrs. Gaul’s room if you want to see what time you perform.
