Announcements March 11th -15th

Parent Teacher Conferences this week. Wednesday 1-6pm. Thursday 1-8pm. Friday No School! Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm.

Join CAGE for a speech and pasta night tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12th. Pasta will be served at 6pm in the high school cafeteria, with large group and individual speech performances at 7pm in the LMC. It is a free will donation. Come watch some amazing speeches!

Congrats to Jade Armbruster, Angelina Zimmerman, Kaleb Flenker, Kadie Collins, Jack Thines, Emily Van Zummeren, Zach Dontje, Zac Gavin, Addie Craig and Jo Haley for competing at State Individual speech this past Saturday. Mrs. Krum and Miss Althoff are very proud of you!

This year’s spring dance will be a SPRING FLING! It will be on Saturday, March 23 from 8pm to 11pm in the cafeteria. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring yourself for a fun night! Tickets will be sold during lunch the week of the dance for $5 a person.

Dubuque College Fair will be held Tuesday, March 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 at the University of Dubuque in Chlapaty Recreation and Wellness Center.  This is a great chance to meet with many college representatives and get first hand information about the colleges that you are interested in or discover a college that you have not yet explored.  Pre-register at www.gotocollegefairs.com to avoid filling out information requests for each college that interest you.

JR and SR students: PROM is fast approaching (April 27)…..Tickets will be sold April 1-4 during lunch, and are $30 each. Watch for signs!!

On Monday, March 18 Student Senate will be handing out Shhhhhamrocks. Student Senate members will be set up by the front and lower doors handing boys their shamrocks Monday morning. Remember the first girl you talk to in the hallway or during lunch gets your “shhhhamrock” for the day! You can talk to girls during class. Please participate and have fun!
