Announcements March 18 – 22nd

If you didn’t get a chance to sign up for Mrs. Quinlan’s GST this Thursday and would like to join the Jackson County Conservation for an activity, see Mrs. Quinlan.

 

Calling Jackson County youth ages 11-15. Like to be outside? Build your volunteer portfolio with Jackson County Conservation this June by joining Youth Corps.

The crew this year will consist of 5 students and 1-2 naturalists.  Participants will need to have their own transportation to the Hurstville Center every Tuesday morning in June. Drinks, snacks and tools will be provided. This is volunteer experience. Applications are due April 15th. Need more information? Contact Jen Meyer at Hurstville.

 

The Spring Fling is THIS Saturday, March 23 from 8pm to 11pm in the cafeteria. Bring a date, bring a friend, bring yourself for a fun night! Tickets will be sold during lunch THIS WEEK of the dance for $5 a person.

 

Hawkeye Community College will be in the counseling office on Wednesday, March 20 at 9:30.

 

JR and SR students: PROM is fast approaching (April 27)…..Tickets will be sold April 1-4 during lunch, and are $30 each. Watch for signs!!

 

Any student who is currently in student senate or has been in student senate in the past is eligible to run for a 2019-2020 officer. Please see Ms. Lansing (room 205) or Mrs. Raker (room 113) for an application and petition if you are interested in running. Applications and petitions are due to Ms. Lansing or Mrs. Raker by 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 20.

 

JOB CORPS WILL BE HERE ON FRIDAY MARCH 22 GST- IF YOU ARE INTERESTED SIGN UP WITH MRS. REUTER IN ROOM 107.

 

CAGE Members:

 

  • Pick up a point sheet from Mrs. Krum or Miss Althoff. They are due at April 5th meeting! No point sheet =  no awards!
  • If you are interested in being on the CAGE board, pick up an election sheet from Mrs. Krum or Miss Althoff and get it signed and turned in at April 5th meeting!

 

 

FFA – Voting for new Officers will take place tomorrow and Wednesday. If you are not in a class at this time and wish to vote please see Mr. Lansing or Mr. Gruis.  

 

ATTENTION SENIORS:

Who is the ultimate senior? Do you think it could be you? Join us Thursday, April 4th @ 5:45 PM to participate in the annual Senior Survivor event, which will be held in the west gym! You and your peers will be put to the test in challenges competing to be crowned the ULTIMATE SURVIVOR. The forms to participate are located in the office. Forms are due by Friday, March 22nd @ 3:20 to Mrs. Raker!
