Announcements May 20th – 24th

The football program is looking for managers this fall.  If interested, please see Coach Bowman this week.

Congrats to Carlene Paul for qualifying for the state tournament next week in Ankeny.  Also a shout out to the girls team that finished 4th in the 12 team regional.

The Maquoketa Golf teams will be working the concession stand at the baseball and softball fields on Thursday, June 20.  Mark your calendars.

High school girls ages 16-21 who are interested in competing for the title of Jackson County Fair queen should contact Lanny Simpson at 652-4282. The deadline is July 10 – need not be in 4H to apply!

Football Lift-a-thon money is due in the office.  See Coach Bowman if you need an extension to collect $.

FCCLA is the student organization associated with Family and Consumer Science.  It is very similar to FFA, BPA, and HOSA. If you are interested, please sign up for GST on Friday!  We want to get a chapter started here at Maquoketa.

If you are interested in volunteering for Safety Town at Delmar Elementary from Monday August 5-Friday August 9th from 8:15-11:45 please let Mrs. Wiggins know.

If you are in 10th or 11th grade, please check your school email and complete the survey about Prom 2020 by Friday, May 24th.

Cross Country meeting in room 106, Wednesday 5/22, after school for anyone interested in cross country for next season. It will be a brief meeting, hope to see you then! Mr. Dennis

Centerstone Inn is looking for a summer housekeeper. (Weekends are a must – usually no later than 4 PM). If interested, there are applications in our office.

Students will be voting for the 2019 Homecoming theme during lunch shifts on Friday, May 24.
