Announcements Nov. 11 – 15

All those interested in participating in wrestling this winter – as a wrestler or manager – need to attend the meeting after school Wednesday, November 13th, in the wrestling room. Coach Feller will be there to discuss and hand out the schedule and other important information. Contact Coach Feller via email if you have a conflict and cannot make the meeting.

Hawkeye Community College will be in the Counseling Office on Mon, Nov 11 at 9:45

Kirkwood Community College will be in the Counseling Office on Thurs, Nov 14 at 9:30

Seniors will be able to vote for class motto, flower, and color during lunch on Wednesday, November 13. If you are unable to vote during lunch, please see Mrs. Raker by 3:30 PM on Thursday, November 14 in order to cast your vote.

Clue Rehearsals: All at Ohnward, if you need a ride see Mrs. Gaul

Mon, Nov. 11th: 4pm to 6pm finish making props and moving set practice, 6:30pm to ?? rehearsal

Tues. Nov. 12th: 5:30pm make-up and 6:30pm to ?? Full show rehearsal

Wed. Nov. 13th: Matinee at 1pm, students should be out at 12pm. SEE LIST BELOW FOR BLUE SHEETS

Thurs. Nov. 14th: 5:30pm make-up and full dress rehearsal with all the costumes and props

Friday, Nov. 15th: Everyone helping with/in the show needs to be there at 5pm!!! (Backstage, make-up, cast, ushers)

Looking for something to do Nov. 15th or 16th? Come join the cast of Clue, as they figure out who is the killer, where and with what!! Dates of performance are Friday, Nov. 15th at 7:30pm and Saturday, Nov. 16th at 7:30pm at Ohnward Fine Arts Center. Tickets can be bought at the HS office, Osterhaus Pharmacy or at the door: adults are $7, students are $5, preschool and under are free, and activity passes are not accepted. 

Mrs. Gaul still needs blue sheets for the matinee on Wed. (11-13) leaving at noon from Kailyn Liebold, Taven Rich, Dixie Solomon, Hannah Heuer, Abby Usher! Turn them into Denise in the office, or my substitute today!

Interested in speech? Come to an informational meeting in Mrs. Gaul’s room (206) on Thursday, Nov. 21st at 6:30pm. Supper will be provided. We will discuss the categories, there are even some that don’t require you to speak in front of people!!
