Announcements Sept. 24 – 28

Senior Knock-Out basketball will take place on Friday, Sept. 28 during GST.  You need to sign up on Monday during GST- this is for seniors only. Other classes will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks.

 

Rehearsal for Fall Play will start Monday, September 24th in Mrs. Krum’s room (214) at 3:45 pm. We will do a read through and talk about the characters. Let Mrs. Krum or Miss Althoff know if you can’t make it.

 

C.A.G.E has volleyball concession stands Tuesday, September 25th @ 4:30. We need students to help work the stand, sign-up sheet is outside of Mrs. Krum’s room. Money made will go towards New York trip!

 

CAGE MEMBERS: If you are planning to go to New York, you need to get your permission form filled out and 1st payment to Miss Althoff or Mrs. Krum by Friday, September 28th!

 

If you took a script from Mrs Krum, and are not in the show, please return it today!

 

CAGE Members: Work on Homecoming window in Miss Althoff’s Room (206) on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings at 7:30 am. Also, after school Wednesday. We have to hang it up on Friday after school.

 

Football Skills Challenge (formly Punt Pass and Kick) hosted by the Maquoketa Kiwanis is Thursday, Oct 4th.  Registration forms available in the office.

 

Support the Athletic Booster Club with “The First Ever Cardinal Pie in the Face Fundraiser”.  Pies will be thrown at the start of the Homecoming Varsity Football game. Tickets are $1.00 each or 15 for $10.00.  Faces include Mr. Gruenwald, Mr. Vervaecke, Senator Tod Bowman, Ms. Lanham, Mrs. Orris, Bob Gavin, Coach Doepke, Coach Hartman, Mr. Mangler and Superintendent Mr. Hoover.  Top 3 faces will get pied at the game. Tickets will be sold at the all home games or during Homecoming week during lunch.

 

Hawkeye Community College will be in the Counseling Office on Tues Sept 25 at 9:45.  A sign-up sheet is in the Counseling Office.

 

Clarke University will be in the Counseling Office on Thurs Sept 27 at 9:45.  A sign-up sheet is in the Counseling Office.

 

Sacred Heart Youth Room will be open for Study Tables Wednesday, 9/26/18 from 2-4:30 PM.

Congrats to the frosh football team on their victory over Cedar Rapids Xavier.  It may be the first Cardinal win over Xavier in any sport.
