Need clothing for the homecoming dance?  The Cardinal Closet has dress clothes for both ladies and gentlemen at no cost.  They also have dress shoes and casual shoes.

Club hOpe meeting tomorrow at 730am – anyone is welcome to join if you haven’t already but would like to! 

There will be an FCCLA meeting at 7:45 am on Thursday, October 3.

SCHOOL PICTURES ARE IN! Please stop in the office to pick up. Reminder – picture retakes will be October 15 at 8 AM.

Maquoketa Kiwanis SKILLS CHALLENGE will be TODAY, Thursday, October 3rd beginning at 7 PM. This event is for boys and girls ages 6-15, and will be held at Goodenow Field. Interested participants may stop in the office for an entry form.

   You can vote for Mayor Don Schwenker, Officer Scott Hansen, Coach & Teacher Sammy Scar, Seniors Sydney Clark & Roy Gerlach, Middle School teacher Cassie Burns, and DOC KOOB! 

   You can vote as many times and for as many faces as you want!
  Tickets to vote are $1 each.

   For every $10 you donate, your name will be put in the drawing to be one of the PIE THROWERS!

   The top 2 faces will receive a pie during half-time of the boys Fresh-Soph game on Homecoming night, Friday, October 4th.

   PLEASE BE GENEROUS WHEN VOTING!

   ALL money raised by the Athletic Boosters goes to purchasing equipment and uniforms for our MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC PROGRAMS.

   The Athletic Boosters will also be selling tickets up through the start of the Fresh-Soph game. Tickets will be sold during the home volleyball and football games, as well as during lunch the week of Homecoming festivities!

Brown Univ will be in the Counseling Office on Tues Oct 8 at 9:45.

Dubuque Capri College will be in the Counseling Office on Thurs Oct 10 at 9:45.

Any students who are participating in the parade and driving to the middle school should not drive up Judson Street (the street near the middle school parking lots) when trying to join your club or team. There will be floats and many people on this street and we need everyone to stay safe.

Professional photo forms for the Homecoming dance are available in the office. Photos will begin in the west gym on Saturday, October 5 at 8:00 PM. You do not need to pick up a photo form prior to the dance in order for your picture to be taken.

The Homecoming dance is on Saturday, October 5 from 9:00 PM-Midnight in the high school cafeteria. Students can begin to get their pictures taken starting at 8:00 PM. Tickets will be on sale at the door for $5.

Cross country has been cancelled for today due to conditions. Our next meet is Tuesday in Manchester.

Friday, Oct 4th: No rehearsal because of homecoming- practice your lines!

CAGE Meeting is Friday, Oct. 4th at 7:30am in Mrs. Gaul’s Room (Althoff 206). Juniors have snacks! Everyone should try to be there! We will discuss the fall play, crews for the play, zombie run, and the schedule. Let Mrs. Gaul know if you can’t make it!
