The Maquoketa School District will no longer be sending out School Messenger phone calls anymore when there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the district. Instead, we will continue to send Remind or Seesaw messages to Briggs and Cardinal families as well as emails to specific grade levels at middle school. ALL families can track our COVID data on our website by clicking on the yellow COVID-19 Info & Resources button. This data is updated on a daily basis.
Our School Messenger system is an extremely important communication tool that we will continue to utilize for reminder and emergency information throughout the district. When the system is overused it becomes less effective and fewer and fewer people listen to the messages.
