Dear Parents/Guardians,
This informational letter is to let you know that the Maquoketa Community School District will be canceling classes on December 20 and 21. Due to the fact that we currently have 28 extra student hours on our calendar, these days will not need to be made up.
The school district recognizes all the hard work that our staff, students, and families have done these past few months to keep all of our buildings operational on a daily basis. We also recognize that the social/emotional health of everyone is extremely important. It is for these reasons that we are providing the opportunity for ALL families to spend more time together by taking these two days off.
We hope that this time provides your family with the opportunity to connect more and relax.
